Pitch a story
If you think we should be looking at something, write to us. One paragraph is enough — what, why now, and what you'd want a reader to walk away thinking. We read everything.
What we do well
- Synthesis with provenance. Stories that pull together what credible outlets have already published, but tracked claim-by-claim with sources you can audit.
- India + global tech. The newsroom is India-first; tech, AI, and policy are the home beats.
- Markets, science, climate, geopolitics. Wherever primary sources are public.
What we cannot take in v1.0
- Original investigative reporting — that arrives at v2.5, alongside insurance and counsel retainer.
- Anonymous-source-only assertions about identifiable private people.
- Allegations of crime against individuals, unless charges have been filed.
How to send it
Email mediathegen@gmail.com with subject Pitch — your one-line summary. Include a thesis paragraph and one or two sources we should look at first. We reply to everything within a week, even if the answer is no.
